Bulandshahr Gang rape case: 3 accused recognized by victims, 15 in custodial interrogation

Bulandshahr: Earlier, Director General of Police Javid Ahmad shared information in a press conference by stating that three accused have been identified by the victims. Among them, one is from Faridabad, one from Bulandshahr and one from Bathinda.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav taking the incident very seriously, asked the police to arrest the culprits and gave them a 24 hours deadline. Javid Ahmed has been strictly ordered to ensure the immediate arrest of the culprits by proceedings against case related heads of police station and also police officers.

Friday night, a family going to Shahjahanpur from Noida was stopped by a group of 5 men on Delhi-Kolkata highway. At first, they robbed them and then raped the woman and did not also spare her daughter. According to the reports, accused dragged men and women sitting in the car to the field and made them hostage, and later looted their cash and jewelry.

Next morning one of the family members somehow managed to open the rope and reported the matter to the police station. Police post was 100 meters away from the crime scene. In this case, 15 people are help for custodial interrogation. To seek the accused many police teams have been deployed. In the case village SHO Kotwali has been suspended and a senior official transferred.
