Term ‘Samajwadi’ irritates Bhartiya Janta Party government: Akhilesh Yadav

Slamming the Yogi government for closing or changing of schemes initiated by the then Samajwadi Party (SP) government, SP National President Akhilesh Yadav hinted to launch protest against the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) state government soon.

“The BJP government gets irritated with the term ‘Samajwadi’ due to which it has either shutdown or made changes in the welfare schemes initiated in our regime. The Kanya Vidya Dhan, laptop distribution, Samajwadi pension, Lucknow Metro, etc. were started without any discrimination and it was for all,” said Akhilesh while speaking in a program on 7th death anniversary of SP leader Shardanand Anchal at SP State office on Tuesday.

Attacking BJP led state government Yadav said there is no place for feudalism and communal system in the democracy but present government is doing anti-democratic activities. Under government’s protection many are breaking law and order but there is no one to listen.

“We will bring truth before the people and massive opposition of the disruptive forces would be done,” he added.
