AAP government assures admission to Pakistani migrant on Sushma’s request

Nothing is above Humanity, not even politics. This was proved recently in Delhi when Aam Aadmi Party and Bhartiya Janata Party were courteous to each other not for alliance but to help a Pakistani migrant.

Madhu, a Pakistani migrant was assured of her education in India by Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia.

Recently, Madhu wrote a letter to the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to help her get admission in a Delhi school. Following it, the news was picked up by the media. Not waiting long, the Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj met her and assured her admission in India.

Sisodia said “I got a call from Arvind Kejriwal that Sushma Swaraj has requested for the admission of that girl. Now, it is our responsibility to grant her admission and ensure that she gets educated.”

Madhu had migrated from Pakistan with her family two years ago due to the insecurity in Pakistan’s Punjab. “After all the papers and documents would be cleared, she will be able to apply for admission in a Delhi school,” said Sisodia.

Following the announcement by Sisodia, Sushma Swaraj thanked him for his kind gesture through the social networking website Twitter.
