Agra administration to allow selected Muslims to offer Friday prayers at Taj Mahal

Not every Muslim will get an entry in the Taj Mahal premises to offer Friday prayers (Juma Namaz) in Taj Mahal premises. Agra district administration has issued a decree that only local Muslims will get an entry on Friday for prayers.

The district administration has instructed that no outsider can offer Namaz in the Taj Mahal, but only those residents of Agra will be allowed to do so. If you are a resident of Agra district and going to offer Friday prayers at Taj Mahal then do not forget to take ID proof along or else you would not be allowed to enter without it.

From now, on every Friday, the administration and police officers will be deployed at the Taj Mahal gates and no one will be admitted without identity cards.
