Akhilesh Yadav demands strict action in death of 8 year old in Mathura encounter case

Akhilesh Yadav has expressed his sorrow over the death of an 8-year-old boy who died during the encounter between police and criminals on Wednesday. He has demanded Rs.50 lakh compensation for the victim’s family and strict action against the culprits.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that in the firing conducted by police in Mathura, the killing of an innocent boy is a very sorrowful incident. Pray for the soul of deceased child and condolences to the afflicted family. Strict action should be taken against the accused and parents should be given Rs 50 lakhs as compensation. An appeal to the government.

This incident took place at Mohanpur village of Mathura district on Wednesday evening, where Madhav shot dead 8 years in the encounter between police and looters. At 5 pm, the police got information that on Mohanpur-Nawada Road the looters are present. The police officials stationed on highway police station immediately reached the spot and tried to nab the miscreants who started firing on the police party.

Suddenly, the 8-year-old Madhav who was coming from the farms was shot in the head. The family members alleged that the police accompanied them for taking Madhav to the hospital in a car but after covering some distance they made an excuse for some urgent work and left the car.

On reaching out of the hospital, the doctors declared Madhav brought dead. After the incident, there is a tension in the village, due to which the local administration deployed the police force there. Besides, the administration is engaged in negotiations with the family.
