Akram, who lost one eye in Kasganj violence; expressed sorrow on Chandan’s death, said my Hindu brother has died

Akram, who lost an eye in Kasganj violence has expressed regret on the death of Chandan Gupta and prayed for his departed soul.

A video of Akram, a resident of Lakhimpur has surfaced on social media, in which he is not only telling about the incident but also expressing sorrow on Chandan’s death.

Akram said, “A youth named Chandan lost his life in the violence, I can’t say what his family might be going through. He was my Hindu brother.”

Notably, Akram who was brutally blinded by the rioters appealed to people that they should remain together, not like Hindu-Muslims but like human beings.

Akram said that I forgive those people who were responsible for damaging my eyesight and I thank Allah that they let me go. And those who have killed Chandan strict punishment should be given to them.
