Amma Marriage Hall on the cards in Tamil Nadu

After grand success of Amma Kitchen and other brands, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa now comes up with Amma Marriage halls in the state.

The marriage halls have been proposed to be constructed at 11 places and this project would cost around Rs 83 crore. Not only this, the hall booking would be just a click away as online booking facility will be availed.

In the press statement issued by Jayalalithaa, she stressed on the hardships faced by the economically weaker sections of the society while booking such halls. It would be for the benefit poor people.

The places identified for the Amma Marriage Halls in Chennai at Tondiarpet, Velachery, Ayapakkam, Periyar Nagar, Korattur, Anna Nagar in Madurai, Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli, Salem in Salem, Kodungaiyur in Tiruvallur, Udumalaipet in Tirupur.

The halls would comprise of AC rooms for bride and groom, guest rooms, dining hall and a kitchen.
