Army Camp In Kashmir’s Baramulla Attacked By Terrorists

An army camp in Baramulla located in north Kashmir has been attacked by terrorists. The camp is located about 50 km from capital Srinagar. two soldiers have been injured and a gun battle is on.

As per reports, terrorists attacked the 46 Rashtriya Rifles camp at around 10.30 pm. They first tossed grenades and then opened fired.

According to J&K police, the attackers were immediately engaged by security forces and two Border Security Force personnel have been injured.

The Army camp is located in the old town of Baramulla.

Two weeks ago, four terrorists had sneaked into an Army base in Uri, also in Baramulla district, and killed 19 soldiers.

On Wednesday last week, the army said it had conducted surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) against teams of Pakistani terrorists waiting to infiltrate into India with the aim of attacking various places in Jammu and Kashmir and also several metros.
