Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman who built up his fan following by his brilliant performance in the recent ICCT20 and IPL will not play cricket for the next 6 months.
While playing for Sussex in English county, the left-arm fast bowler’s shoulder muscles got strained due to which he has been ruled out. Bangladesh Cricket Board is currently mulling whether to have the operation in England or Australia. The final decision of the Board in this regard will be taken on Monday. Mustafizur had so far played only two matches.
Doctors have said, recovery will take more than six months, which means he will not be able to represent his country in the triangular series between Bangladesh, England and New Zealand.
20 years old Bangladesh left-arm paceman, Mustafizur has played 2 Test and 9 ODI matches, represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and was also offered by by Pakistan Super League and Caribbean Premier League but BCB din’t permit him. However, the board granted permission to play in the English county as to refine his skills.so he could refine his skills.
