BJP invades two-decade-old fort of Left party, Modi’s magic worked in Tripura

Tripura, which was considered as the Left’s stronghold, the Bharatiya Janta Party has made an edge over the magic number which is 31 seats, whereas the Left’s Communist Party of India (Marxist) is moving ahead on just 19 seats.

Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura is leading only on 7 seats. That is, if Left forms an alliance along with this front, it will not be able to stop the BJP from forming the government.

According to the latest figures, in Tripura elections the BJP is going ahead with 32 seats and CPI (M) is leading in just 19 seats.

For the last two decades, the Left Party has dominated Tripura and Manik Sarkar, was Chief Minister for four times from here. But the latest trends are going to write history. Make a dent in Left’s stronghold, the BJP is going to form a government in few hours.
