BJP should not play politics over surgical strikes: Tejaswi Yadav

Deputy chief minister of Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav has attacked BJP over surgical attacks saying, “Country and national security is paramount. No politics should be played over such issues.”

Tejaswi accused BJP for trying to draw political mileage from India’s surgical strikes in Pakistan.

He has also raised objections over BJP’s posters for the upcoming Assembly elections that congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying out surgical strike.

Tweeting over the issue Tejaswi said that nothing was more important than nation and national security.

“Country and national security is paramount. No politics should be played over such issues,” said Tejaswi.

After the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Maharashtra Congress president Sanjay Nirupam and former finance minister P Chidambaram, Tejaswi in the add on in the list of people who have commented on the surgical strikes in Pakistan.

While Kejriwal and Chidambaram had demanded the Centre to give proof of Indian Army’s action against Pakistan, Nirupam had called the surgical operation fake.
