Counting of votes for the assembly elections in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura has already begun. According to the latest figures, the Naga People’s Front in Nagaland while Congress in Meghalaya are leading.
According to the latest information, the trends of the 48 seats in Meghalaya have come, in which Congress is leading on 21 seats while BJP leads on only 3 seats. Meghalaya’s National People’s Party has maintained an edge over 10 seats and United Democratic Party got lead on 6 seats.
On the other hand, in Nagaland, the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading on 5 seats while the Naga People’s Front is leading with 11 seats. Janata Dal-United has got an edge over one seat, the National Democratic Progressive Party is leading on 5 seats.
Talking about Tripura, the trend of 47 seats has come up so far, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party is going ahead with 25 seats, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has got just 16 seats lead.
Let us tell you that in all three states, 31 seats will be required for any party to form a government. In these elections, all the parties gave their full strength to win the polls.
