Expert Committee for replacing pellet gun to submit report in three day: Rajnath Singh

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the expert committee report to find alternate of Pellet Guns would be released within three days. We are sure that some alternate would come to replace the existing pellet gun.

“The expert committee was formed to find the alternate to pellet gun. Nearly a month has passed since the committee was formed and we are now sure that report would be released within three-four days,” Rajnath Singh told reporters in press conference held at Kashmir on Thursday.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh offered many lucrative schemes and announcement to attract the Kashmiri youths. The aim is to end the unrest taking from last one month in the valley.
He said it has been decided recently, that the recruitment of Kashmiri youths in the army would be done. A separate battalion would be formed which will represent the country. Not only this, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has informed about appointment of nearly 100 Special Police Officers (SPOs) in the valley.

Attacking Pakistan without naming it, Minister said those who are trying to incite the innocent youth of Kashmir should beware of their act. It would not be tolerate anymore. There should be books and computer in the hands of kids and youths but some only want to see stones in their hands.

Minister informed that more than 4000 security forces have been injured since the unrest has begun. People should not forget that it was the same forces which helped them in floods.

The Central government had decided to appoint a nodal officer for handling the Kashmir issue. For it, a helpline number would be released soon. “In case, any Kashmiri people in any part of the country faces problem they can contact to that nodal officer directly,” said Minister.
