Honey trapped Air Force Group Captain sends Intelligence documents to ISI

Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Group Captain Arun Marwah (51) of Air Force from Delhi for allegedly spying and providing confidential documents to the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.

According to sources, a few months ago, an agent of ISI had approached Arun Marwah as a girl. After continuous chatting, they started talking on phones. Both of them used to send illicit messages to each other.

After being honey trapped completely, the ISI agent demanded many confidential documents from him. It is alleged that he provided some confidential documents to him.

A senior officer of the Air Force started investigating the matter said, in the investigation of Marwah’s involvement in espionage was found the complaint was sent to Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik. Sensing the seriousness of the case, Patnaik handed over the investigation to Special Cell.

Special Cell arrested Arun Marwah on Thursday morning and in the afternoon; he was produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Deepak Sahrawat at Patiala House Court, took him on a five-day remand.
