India crushes Pakistan in under-19 World Cup semi-finals

The second semifinal match of the Under-19 World Cup was played between India and Pakistan in New Zealand. In the match played at the Hagley Oval ground, the Indian team gave an outstanding performance by defeating Pakistan by 203 runs. With this victory, team India has entered the finals, where they will face Australia.

Batting first, the Indian team scored 272 runs for 9 wickets. Indian vice-captain Shubhaman Gill scored highest 102 runs in the innings, while on the other side Pakistani pacer Mohammed Musa picked up 4 wickets.

Chasing the target, Pakistani team failed to stand before the Indian bowling attack and lost three early wickets at the score of 20 runs. With focused bowling by the Indian bowlers, Pakistani was all out at the score of just 69 runs. Roheel Nazir scored highest 18 runs from Pakistan. Ishaan Porrell took 4 wickets, Shiva Singh and Ryan Parag got two wickets each.

For his century Shubhaman Gill received the Player of the Match award. With a massive victory of 203 runs, the team India has entered into finals, where they would face Australia. Earlier in the league match with Australia, Indian team defeated Australia.
