JNU student found dead in his hostel room

A  student from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in his hostel room. He was commencing PHD and was reportedly missing since the past three days.

J R Philemon Raja, a resident of Manipur, was was found dead in room no 171 of the Brahmaputra Hostel.

People came to know about the death when a when a foul smell started emanating from his hostel room, the student in the neighbouring room called other students and security and forcefully opened door.

His body has been preserved at AIIMS mortuary for postmortem. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of death.
JNU administration is already rallying through protests as another student Najeeb Ahmad went missing eleven days ago and has not been located yet.
