Kasganj violence: Actor Farhan Akhtar gets angry over a fake image going viral on his name

Bollywood actor and film director Farhan Akhtar got angry over the wrong message being spread on Kasaganj violence by his name. He complained about this fake message and gave clarification to his fans.

Notably, a twitter user posted a screenshot of an image on which statement was written with a photo of Farhan Akhtar. It was written in the statement that on It was Friday on 26th January. On that day, Hindus should have avoided Tiragna Yatra and Vande Mataram slogans on the Muslim areas.

Farhan was upset over this tweet and he immediately tweeted Twitter India complaining about this tweet. He also clarified about this fake tweet. He said, “. @TwitterIndia this is a malicious tweet with a statement that I did not make being ascribed to me. Kindly take necessary action against this user.”

In another tweet, Farhan wrote that To my followers and other users of this platform, Please be very cautious about what you choose to believe on social media. There are sinister forces at work trying their best to foster hate. Be aware of it and do your research before believing and/or reacting to anything.

It may be noted that the politics and rumours on the kasganj violence are continuing unabated. Recently a youth named Rahul was declared dead on social media, after which Rahul came out and dismissed it as a rumor.
