Maulana Nadvi demanded cash, power and land for ram temple in Ayodhya: Amarnath Mishra

Amarnath Mishra, President of Ayodhya Sadbhavna Coordination Committee, has claimed that former executive member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Salman Hasan Nadvi who supported the Ram temple on Ayodhya disputed land, asked for a land in Ayodhya itself for construction of a mosque, a Rajya Sabha seat and cash for supporting ram temple.

Notably, Maulana Salman Nadvi gave the formula to build a Ram temple on the disputed land and shift the mosque to another place during his meeting with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. After which he was expelled from AIMPLB.

As per the claims of Amarnath Mishra, in the meeting held on February 4 with Maulana Salman Nadvi, Imam Council General Secretary Haji Masroor Khan was also present.

Amarnath said that Maulana Nadvi wanted to turn Ayodhya into Mecca-Madina. That is why, when he asked for a proposal, he had asked for Rs 5000 crores, two-acre land and a Rajya Sabha seat.

On the other hand, Nadvi has rejected Mishra’s claim. He alleged that Mishra wants to maintain tension between Hindus and Muslims by raising such issues.

He said such people do not want Ram temple or mosque in Ayodhya. He is a satan and his only work is to create hindrances in God’s work. Mishra is frightened by the fact that Hindus and Muslims will unite if this formula works.

Nadvi said we want to give a message of peace and prosperity in the country. I do not even know Mishra and I have never met him before. I do
Maulana Salman Nadvi had said on February 9 that he met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of Art of Living and gave his support to the construction of Ram temple. He indicated the solution to this dispute outside the court.
