Modi’s attack on Gua-Rakshaks would increase cow slaughtering: VHP Leader Praveen Togadia

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement against self styled Gau-Rakshaks got mixed response from the politicians and people. PM’s statement which showcases soft corner for Dalits and Muslims has irked Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

“Modi’s statement against the ‘Cow Vigilantes’ in Town hall program has connected atrocities on Dalits and Gau-raksha andolan which will divide the Hindu Community and gave clean chit to the butchers slaughtering holy cows. His statement is not welcomed,” said Praveen Togadia International Working President, VHP

According to VHP leader, there were 444 cows per 1000 persons earlier but due to smuggling of cows for slaughtering them has reduced the ratio to 40 cows per 1000 person. If this continues, cow will become extinct species.

VHP leader stressed that just like PM was in favor of holding peace talks with Pakistan he should have interacted with the ‘cow vigilantes’, who worked hard to make him prime minister of the country. All of them are disappointed on his statement.

VHP’s self styled Gau-Rakshaks think that PM’s statement would increase the cases of cow slaughtering in the country especially in those states where anti-cow slaughtering laws are present.
