Mufti Dynasty needs to understand; everyone is not for sale: Shehla Rashid to Mehbooba

Slamming the joint press conference of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti held on Thursday, Member of All India Students Association (AISA) and JNU leader Shahla Rashid Shora said the journalists can be silenced or bought out with a cup of tea?

While sharing the press conference’s video, Shehla wrote on her facebook profile that the expert committee, its report and pellet guns are nothing. “dear Mehbooba ji, bas kya kahoon? Shameful to see you justifying murder of kids. Why the hell do you assume that, when poor people protest, they are being exploited, being paid for it?” she said on fb.

She said the Kashmir movement has always been workers’ led. It is the common people who are laying down their lives. At times you claim that daily wagers are suffering due to curfew. At times, you claim that these “wretched, poor” people are the ones protesting. Which one is it?

Lambasting Mehbooba Mufti for dodging question by journalists, Shehla said “when she fails to answer journalists, she insults them by saying, “chai cuppah cheyiv” (so derogatory). Why do you think, Ms. Mufti, that journalists can be silenced or bought out with a cup of tea?

Attacking PDP leader, she alleged “The elitist tone of PDP has never changed. When the sex scandal in PDP-1 regime was unearthed, your Minister said, “We cannot trust women who sell themselves for hundred odd rupees.” At that time, a letter to the editor of Greater Kashmir read, “Are you saying that we should only trust those who sell themselves for lakhs and crores?”

“The Mufti dynasty and their faithful servants need to understand. Unlike you, everyone is not up for sale. Respect for the journalists who stood up to these spineless, remorseless, shameless “LEADERS”!,” said Shehla.
