Navjot Singh Siddhu needs time to think: Arvind Kejriwal

Giving rest to the rumors of cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Siddhu joining Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said: “He met me on last Friday, he wants time to think.”

Soon after Siddhu resigned from Parliament, there were much more possibilities that he would be joining AAP as the Punjab Assembly Elections are near.

Clearing decisions related to Siddhu’s joining in AAP, Kejriwal tweeted: “He met me last week. Didn’t put any pre-condition. He needs time to think. Lets respect that He is a v gud human being n a ckt legend. My respect for him wud continue whether he joins or not”

Earlier, while giving interview to a leading news channel AAP leader Ashutosh said he had no information regarding Siddhu’s joining AAP as he is not the incharge for the state of Punjab.

Making a bit controversial statement, he said Siddhu has resigned from Parliament which has been accepted but still it’s not clear whether he had left the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) or not. We will wait for his final call on the issue.
