Nitish Kumar resigns as Chief Minister of Bihar

Nitish Kumar has resigned from the post of Bihar Chief Minister after long dispute due to corruption issue of Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav on Wednesday. His resignation came just after RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav ruled out resignation of Tejaswi Yadav in the ongoing corruption controversy.

Soon after the meeting with the MLAs Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar headed towards Governor house and submitted his resignation from post of chief minister. After coming out of the Governor house, Nitish Kumar said we did not asked anyone for resignation in the ongoing controversy, but had asked the person to give clarification to the people about corruption charges levelled against him. He said that it is not his style not working that’s why he decided to step down from the post of chief minister.
