After opposing Raghuram Rajan, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy is now after Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung calling him ‘420 like Kejri’.
On Tuesday, Swamy tweeted: “In my opinion, this LG of Delhi Mr. Jung is unsuited for this high post. He is another 420 like Kejri. We need a Sangh person in Delhi”
It was not the first time, when Swamy has erupted controversy though his statement. Earlier, he had come out in opposition of Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan.
Swamy demanded to dismiss him as Rajan was ‘Mentally not fully Indian’. Following it, Rajan announced that he would not take a second term as RBI chief. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi came out for damage control and praised working and dedication of Rajan for the country. He slammed swamy’s statement but it was too late.
