PM condoles the demise of former Israeli President Shimon Peres

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his condolences to the people of Israel, on the demise of former Israel President Mr. Shimon Peres. 

“In former President Shimon Peres, we lost a key world leader and a friend of India. Pained by his demise. Our condolences to people of Israel”, the Prime Minister said.

Israel was established on occupied Palestinian land in 1947 after which they have continued to cease more Palestinian territory by building illegal settlement colonies, which are not only deemed unauthorized by the UN but also by European Union and other nations.

Peres was one of the disciples of first Israeli PM and used to see Palestinian citizens as a ‘demographic threat’. He was also Responsible for Qana massacre in Lebanon in 1996 in which 106 Lebanese civilians died and 116 civilians got injured.
