Roadside Bombing in Quetta, 10 injured no casualties

More than 10 people were injured when a bomb blast in Quetta on Thursday. It was reported that the roadside blast was targeted a vehicle belonging to the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) on Zarghon Road.

As per Media reports, six civilians and four security officials were injured in a roadside blast near Al Khair Hospital in Balochistan’s provincial capital, which also shattered windows of nearby buildings.

The bomb was planted along the side of the road in such way that when ATF’s vehicle passed by the bomb was exploded. Soon after the incident, the security forces and bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot. The police has cordoned off the area and search operation is underway.

Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti told reporters that the terrorists have taken advantage of the busy road, they planted bomb and fled on motorcycle.

Earlier on Monday in Quetta, a suicide bombing killed over 70 people, mostly lawyers and journalists, at the emergency ward of Quetta’s Civil Hospital.
