Mumbai: A 35-year-old man arrested for allegedly killing his wife and his two-year-old son. According to the police, the man allegedly killed his wife and son, as he suspected her of having an extra-marital affair. Immediately after dumping the bodies, the accused approached the police and filed a missing complaint.
The accused has been identified as Laxman Dhangar, 35, who is a daily wage worker. As per the police, the body was recovered from wireless compound
As per the police, the accused killed his wife Parvati, 35, by strangulating her to death and son Akil.
During the investigation, the police found the body of the deceased in Wireless Compound. As the accused had filed a missing complaint, the police had called him to identified the body.
According to the police, the accused identified the body without looking the face, which made the police suspicious and later took him for questioning, in which he confessed his crime that he killed him as well and had dumped the body in a drain in Juhu.
“We disagreed with his statement. He has confessed his crime of killing his wife and dumping her body at wireless compound,” said senior inspector at DN Nagar police station, Dhanaji Nalawade.
Dhangar has been remanded in police custody till August 18.
