In SSC paper leak case, students have won. Students were demanding from the SSC Administration that CBI probe should be conducted in this case. The SSC administration has now decided to conduct a CBI inquiry.
Despite this assurance, the students have not called off their protest and insist that the government should give assurance in writing about the investigation first. The students have warned to continue their agitation.
On Sunday, BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi and Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari went to meet the students and said that the government accepted their demand for the CBI probe. Students said that the movement will not end until the government gives it in writing.
SSC chief Asim Khurana said in a statement that a delegation of students against the alleged paper leak met him and handed over a memorandum. They were accompanied by Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari. He has demanded a CBI inquiry into the question papers leak in the examination held from 17 to 22 February.
The Commission has agreed to conduct a CBI inquiry into the allegations related to leak of question papers of the examination held on February 21, by the personnel and training department. The commission has also promised fair investigation in this case.
Notably, social activist Anna Hazare also the students protesting outside SSC commission on Sunday. He also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over this. After Anna’s arrival, Delhi BJP came into action in this matter and Manoj Tiwari MP from Delhi was sent to meet the students.
