On January 12, when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s convoy was passing through Nandan village of Mahadalits, stones were rained on him. But just 8 days later, when former Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav reached there, he was rained with flowers.
It was told that people allegedly offended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had pelted stones at the convoy. Where RJD alleged that the people who had attacked Nitish Kumar were fiercely targeted the police, after which Tejaswi Yadav went to meet the MahaDalit families.
Excited with the warm welcome of Tejaswi Yadav, RJD tweeted the photos from its official Twitter account and wrote, “On one side of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish was stoned, on the other side, leader of Opposition Tejaswi Yadav was welcomed with flowers.”
Since the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar has broken the ties with Maha Gathbandhan and formed a government with the BJP in Bihar, the former Deputy Chief Minister, Tejaswi Yadav, has opened a front against him.
In his statements, Tejaswi continues to blame Nitish Kumar for insulting the mandate of Grand alliance and also keep on reminding him of the public mandate in the next elections. The Bihar government headed by Nitish has engaged itself in counting its achievements.
