Three stray dogs shot dead in Hyderabad; police register case against miscreants

Hyderabad: The miscreants killed three on the outskirts of Hyderabad city on Monday, this time it was not human but the dogs were shot dead. Police have registered case against unidentified persons.

This was the incident Gudimalkapur of Hyderabad where three stray dogs were shot dead by the miscreants near a farm house.

As reported, the owner of the farm house was irritated as dogs entered into his farm house despite chasing them away. It is suspected by the locals that the owner might have been involved behind the killing

Police said during investigation it was discovered that someone shot the dogs on an eight-acre farm house adjoining the colony. The farm house belongs to a realtor called Akbar Nijamuddin had been summoned by for inquiry. a case under section 429 of the IPC have been registered.

Section 429 of the Indian Penal Code

Mischief by killing or maiming cattle, etc., of any value or any animal of the value of fifty rupees.—Whoever commits mischief by killing, poisoning, maiming or rendering useless, any elephant, camel, horse, mule, buffalo, bull, cow or ox, whatever may be the value thereof, or any other animal of the value of fifty rupees or upwards, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both.
